About Bridie
For over 10 years, Bridie has been working with Australian Research and Development Corporations (RDC's), Universities and private enterprises, with the primary objective of improving the accessibility of information generated from scientific research. She is passionate about the effective application of scientific research and technology. She also lives by the principle that knowledge is only useful if it is shared; scientists spend valuable investment on solving world-wide problems and she wants to make sure everyone knows about it.
By working alongside Dr Kylie Hewson at Sativus Pty Ltd, she has gained incredible insight into research design and development in the Australian agricultural industry, which has provided her the opportunity to utilise the skills she gained during her tertiary education. Whilst working at Sativus Pty Ltd, Bridie has contributed to the translation and evolution of several industry projects in diverse fields, including animal nutrition, husbandry, climate modelling, virology and welfare. She has also developed programs to enhance the cultivation of research related to biosecurity risk, capacity building and antimicrobial stewardship efforts in Australian livestock industries.
