Dr. Syed is an experienced food scientist specializing in food safety and food microbiology, with over 25 years of professional experience in the food industry, teaching, and research at public sector research institutions in Australia and overseas. After completing a PhD in Food Microbiology from the Centre for Food Safety and Innovation at the University of Tasmania, Australia, he currently holds the position of certified technical auditor and technical expert for a Sydney-based private certification business. He provides auditing support as a technical expert and lead auditor to technical teams. His work encompasses rigorous inspections and evaluations of food safety management systems, ensuring compliance with local and international food safety standards.
