Filippo Giachi

Filippo has been the founder and Managing Director of NTT DOCOMO’s digital business in Asia Pacific, leading it from inception to multibillion-dollar turnover in the span of a few years. During this time, he has been building and scaling a variety of tech businesses for the company, with successful product/service launches across multiple geographies and forging enduring alliances with key corporate clients and partners – especially telecoms, OTTs, payments and app stores.

Having lived in the region for about 15 years, predominantly between Singapore, India and Australia, Filippo has an extended network of executives and talent in the broader technology space and is a regular guest speaker at industry events.

During his free time, Filippo is an avid reader and a sports enthusiast, having been a competitive swimmer and coach in the early 2000s, and loves to dedicate time to students and entrepreneurs, mainly via mentorship programs.

Filippo received an MBA degree from SDA Bocconi School of Management, Italy, with a deep dive in Marketing of Media and Entertainment at NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York.
