Digital Growth Marketer / Growth Hacker
About the role
ApplyThe Position:
You're someone with strong digital and analytical skills who wants to work in a fast paced startup environment. By using data as a base, you are a type of person who loves problem-solving, is a fast thinker and isn’t afraid to experiment. You're a recent graduate who has a desire to learn and is interested in customer development and marketing strategy. Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a growth team to prioritise which key metrics/KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to focus on each week
- Helping create campaigns and experiments (across all channels, e.g. email marketing, social media, landing pages etc…) based on your KPIs
- Backlogging and back briefing (discussing ideas and data) on current campaigns and experiments with other departments
- A/B testing within the campaigns and experiments
- Understanding data collection and being able to analyse and present it to other departments
- Analysing traffic from social media
- Copywriting for social media and other channels when needed
Requirements:
- University graduate, ideally in Marketing, Entrepreneurship or Business Administration
- Strong communications and analytical skills
- You are a strong operational/admin type person who loves to be organised
- You’re innovative and possess creative methods for maximum exposure.
- You read technology and innovation news regularly (if not daily) and already have some networks within the startup/marketing/PR community.
- You possess a professional yet fun communication style and have great written English skills.
- This is a Melbourne based role.
Desired Skills:
- Coding, understand any language (HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, SQL…)
- Having experience with key growth hackings tools such as Optimizely, MailChimp, HubSpot and Zapier
- Worked in a Startup environment or innovation department
- Have experience with CMS (website management)
- Run content for different social media platforms
- A background in online and email marketing
