Startupbootcamp has expanded to South America: A New Era for the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

Exciting news has hit the shores of Brazil as Startupbootcamp Global has set up a new office in the vibrant city of Recife. We are thrilled about expanding into another continent because it gives us the chance to sustain our international influence in the startup ecosystem and innovate the world.

On the 5th of May, Startupbootcamp Global expanded to Brazil with the plan to adapt to emerging markets and focus on both startups who are ready to receive investment and also on aspiring entrepreneurs from underprivileged groups and locations.

SBC Global’s mission is to invest in 100,000 startups over the next 10 years, with an aspiration of having 20,000 of them emerging directly from the Brazilian ecosystem. To achieve this goal, Startupbootcamp Global is working in partnerships with governments, universities, investors, civil society organisations and private initiatives, to help create a stronger and more sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem in Brazil and around the world.

Our very own Startupbootcamp Australia Program Manager, Ricardo Costa, was visiting his home in Brazil and had the pleasure of attending the Startupbootcamp Brazil Launch Event alongside Kauan Von Novack, Global Managing Director at Startupbootcamp, and Edgar Andrade, Head of Startupbootcamp Brazil. Ricardo shared with us,
