As the Sports and EventTech program enters its fourth week, we want to introduce another team from this year’s cohort- IN.LIVE. IN.LIVE is a Web2 + Web3 streaming solution that enables creators to build communities, feature their own brand, and curate and monetize their own content, all while connecting with customers and fans across the world.
According to Calvin, the media industry is relatively broken. There are two main players- influencers powered by social media and massive media conglomerates such as Netflix and Disney, that consolidate and mass-produce content. These two segments have left little room for independent creators in film, television, music, conferences, festivals and more to produce and monetize their content. IN.LIVE helps these independent creators break through and showcase their content.
IN.LIVE’s platform allows creators to build their own storefront where they can feature their brand and their content. This live or recorded content can be anything from feature films to video podcasts to masterclasses. The creators control the pricing, marketing, messaging, and narrative. Creators also capture all of the user data obtained through their content for additional insights.
After selection days, the founders of IN.LIVE met with mentors from the Startupbootcamp program who helped them identify their ideal customer profile. Since then, the founders of IN.LIVE have tailored their solution and their pitch to meet the needs of this customer.
IN.LIVE’s platform appeals to a global audience. Through Startupbootcamp, they hope to be introduced to clients, partners, and investors that are interested in revolutionising the next generation of the creator economy fueled by Web3.
