About HomeGround
The problem we're solving:
A majority of aspiring cricketers do not have access to professional training and analytics as it is expensive.
Cricket coaches are looking for a comprehensive solution to track player skill progression, design customised training plans and communicate feedback effectively back to the players.
Cricket players and coaches have limited options that go beyond traditional training on the ground.
Our solution:
HomeGround provides real-time metrics, personalised recommendations and expert coach feedback right on the user’s smartphone without any need of special equipment or sensors.
Player training performance is recorded and converted to a digital skill profile that can be shared with talent scouts for better opportunities and with coaches to get expert feedback.
Motivation in an athletes journey is essential. We help our users keep going by gamifying the learning experience, up-skill with the latest cricket drills and engage with the ecosystem by participating in virtual competitions.
Our differentiator:
HomeGround uses Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence to analyse the training videos with out any need for external sensors or special equipment, reducing cost and friction to use
Our solution provides solutions for overall development of a player unlike sensor-based products which cater to a specific category of improvement.
Our biggest achievement:
Our vision with HomeGround is to bring professional analytics to the grassroots and give everyone an equal opportunity to play the game and achieve their goals. So far we were able to run 5 POC’s with cricket academies and on-board 100 users. Our goal for the next 6 months is to on-board 10K users and help them level up.
