About Edible Cutlery

The problem we're solving:

Plastic cutlery was introduced to minimise paper and bamboo, and here Edible Cutlery is doing a full circle. The single-use plastic cutlery has contributed to a global waste crisis, polluting our landfills, oceans, and ecosystems.

And now approximately 12 million trees are cut down annually to produce single-use paper and wooden cutlery. Disposable cutlery is a 23 billion dollar global industry with a CAGR of over 6% that has had little to no novelty till date.

Our solution:

Edible Cutlery provides a sustainable and tasty alternative to all single-use cutlery.

The cutlery made by Edible Cutlery is made from 100% plant-based, nut-free, multigrain ingredients. It is not only delicious but also completely zero-waste.

After use, it can be eaten or composted, eliminating the need for disposal. Since inception, Edible Cutlery have averted 150,000+ unsustainable single-use cutlery items from reaching landfills.

Our differentiator:

Edible Cutlery stands out by offering a unique combination of taste, sustainability, and convenience. Our edible cutlery is not only eco-friendly but also delicious. Secondly, the cutlery is made from 100% plant-based, nut-free, multigrain ingredients, setting it apart from traditional alternatives. Lastly, Edible Cutlery focuses on zero-waste is a key differentiator. The cutlery can be consumed after use or composted, ensuring minimal environmental impact.

Our biggest achievement:

Edible Cutlery's biggest achievement to date is successfully onboarding national and global companies as clients within Edible Cutlery's first few months of operations.

(In competition, would be perfecting cutlery recipe to taste like cookies, yet light in calories!)
